Welcome to New Trails Alpacas (NTA).  If you are looking for friendly , high-quality Suri alpacas, you have come to the right place! We are a family owned and operated farm.  Our peaceful alpaca haven is located 45 minutes north of Richmond, VA and just minutes from beautiful Lake Anna.  We would love to have you come visit our farm and meet our alpacas. 

We are excited about our collaboration with veteran alpaca farmer Bill Graham of Old Trails Alpacas www.oldtrailsalpacas.com   Beginning his farm in 1984, Graham is known as a pioneer in the United States alpaca industry. Our foundation herd alpacas come solely from Old Trails Alpacas, offering us a depth and quality unavailable anywhere else on the east coast.

We carry some of the best bloodlines from great names such as Snowmass Ice Capade, Bruxo, Grand Marnier, Inca son Gideon, MacGyver, and NGG Tiago Primo. The focus of our business is to provide the highest quality Peruvian Suri bloodlines available. We have some very nice Huacayas from excellent bloodlines as well. 

We currently have alpacas imported from Old Trails Alpacas(Pacific Northwest) as well as Thompson Hollow Farm (New York) for sale.  With animals coming from these two amazing established farms we are able to offer some of the most diversified bloodlines available in Virginia.  We offer outside breeding to our wonderful males:  P.N.N.A. Grand Reserve Champion Suri herd sire Snowmass Ice Capade, Baron Winsmore, Jet Star, and Humo del Fuego.
